September 21  Â·  Year Twenty-Four

Yes, this is your gift. No Kind of. The actual gift is behind three small tasks, because I refuse to make anything easy for you, Yolyn.

Three levels. Twenty-four of everything. No skip button — I checked, I wrote the code.

Best experienced with sound off and expectations low.

Level 01

Make a wish

The rules of birthday physics are strict: an unspoken wish is just a thought, and thoughts don't come true. Type it. I promise not to read it. (I will read it.)

0/240
Level 02

The Dachshund Dash

0/24
hurdles cleared

This is Aiabells: long, low, and emotionally unprepared for these flowers. Run until you hit something — nothing stops you before that. Go down on 24 or more and the next level is yours; go down short of it and you start again. It gets meaner the longer you last.

Ready when you are

Tap anywhere (or press Space) to jump. That's the whole control scheme.

Best run: 0

Tap or press Space to jump  Â·  24 to pass, 300 to finish it

Level 03

Flower Frenzy

0/24
blooms caught

I couldn't fit 24 real flowers through your door, so here they are falling from the sky. Catch until one gets past you. If you're on 24 or more when it lands, the gift is yours; drop one before that and the count goes back to zero and the sky carries on, because I am, at heart, a petty man.

Hands ready

Tap or click every flower before it lands. All 24. No survivors on the floor.

Best: 0

Speed, spawn rate and target size all get worse as you go  Â·  24 to pass, 300 to finish it

Final lock

One more door.

The games were for anyone. What's behind this isn't. If you're Yolyn, you already know the words — you get called them often enough.

Scoreboard

Respectable.

You beat the whole thing and the letter still isn't yours — that part was only ever hers. Here's your run. Send it to Yolyn so she knows what she's up against.

Happy 24th, My Loveee

Yolyn Mae Cabigo  ·  21 September 2002

You jumped 24 hurdles and caught 24 flowers, which is honestly more effort than most people put into a birthday. Here's what was behind the door.

A letter, since I made you work for it
